Rajesh Mehrotra
Senior Supervisor Grades 11 and 12 Boys
Rajesh Mehrotra has been associated with GEMS Modern Academy for the last 13 years. Before taking over as the Educational Supervisor in 2017 he has served time as a Physics teacher in Senior School, Head of Physics department, Assistant Dean and Academic Coordinator.
During his career, he has always been involved in introducing innovative and inquisitive teaching and learning methods not only in the classroom but also in making experiment driven sessions exciting in the laboratories too. In his capacity of Assistant Dean, he has been instrumental in conducting internal data driven training for teachers.
As an Academic coordinator he has engaged in data analysis sessions to improve the attainment and progress of students across grades. In his role as Educational Supervisor, he is actively involved in strengthening the education system by aligning processes and practices of the senior school with the whole school to ensure high achievement standards among students.
Rajesh also provides mentoring and counselling to students in the area of future university and career options. He extends this to teachers on the senior school team, which helps in strengthening their best practices. Rajesh holds a Bachelor of Education degree and a Masters degree in Physics (Electronics) from Kanpur University, India.
He is also a proud author of his ISC Guided practical book series for grades 9-12.
