Inclusion

At GEMS Modern Academy, inclusion is at the heart of everything we do. Guided by the Dubai Inclusive Education Policy Framework and our Kaizen philosophy of continuous improvement, we are committed to creating a school culture where every learner feels valued, respected, and empowered to succeed.

Our team consists of two Heads of Inclusion, 4 special educators and over 40 learning support assistants who plan and implement intervention programs for students with a range of needs.

We recognise and celebrate the unique strengths, needs, and aspirations of every student. Through personalised pathways, collaborative partnerships with families and community providers such as Behaviour Enrichment, Belief Shaping therapies and Super-Heroes Gym, among others, we ensure that all learners can access, participate in, and thrive within an inclusive learning community.

Our distinctive programmes include internationally recognised ASDAN programmes that develop life and employability skills, and the NIOS pathway, offering flexible accredited learning opportunities. We also provide dedicated enrichment and extension programmes for gifted and talented learners, ensuring challenge, growth, and achievement for every student.

From admission through graduation, our multidisciplinary teams work alongside students and families to identify strengths, remove barriers, and create meaningful pathways to success. Through continuous reflection, innovation, and improvement, we ensure that every learner is equipped with the skills, confidence, resilience, and independence needed to flourish in school and beyond.
