Education is empowering and seeks to reduce the disequilibrium in society by uplifting those not as fortunate as we are. The Round Square IDEALS are embedded in each initiative at Modern. This is a testimony to the passion and conviction with which students and teachers come together for a well-defined cause. International understanding and

Cultural Respect

International understanding and cultural respect are promoted among the students through their participation in events such as Model United Nations and Modern World Debates.

Democracy

Our students are given the freedom of thoughts and expression both inside as well as outside the classroom. They are encouraged to ask questions and express their own viewpoint without hesitation.

Environmentalism

The value and importance of sustainability and preservation of the planet are inculcated in our students through myriad initiatives that are aligned with the SDG Goals and help students think beyond the scope of the curriculum.

Adventure

To challenge oneself beyond one’s comfort zone is the hallmark of education we strive to impart at Modern. Through initiatives such as CBL, Project Prism, Innovation Mela, Duke of Edinburgh and the Himalayan Trek we encourage students to be adventurous and positive change makers.

Leadership

The leader within each student is recognised, encouraged and inspired to take risks by creating a fine balance between the tangibles and intangibles of education.

Service

Our students take on several service programmes and projects, both individually and collaboratively to help the underprivileged communities in different parts of the world. Being an IB School, CAS forms the core of the IB Learner Profile.
