Mohammad Inkishaf

Senior Supervisor - Islamic Education

Mohammed Inkishaf joined GEMS Modern Academy on 2nd September 1990 as an Arabic and Islamic Education teacher in the Primary Section. From the very beginning, he demonstrated a deep commitment to nurturing young minds and fostering a meaningful understanding of Islamic values and the Arabic language.

With a bachelor’s degree in Arabic Literature and Islamic Shariah and a master’s degree in Islamic Shariah and Sciences, Mohammed brings over 34 years of educational experience, including 30 years of dedicated teaching in Islamic Education and Arabic. Since 1990, he has held official teaching approval from the Ministry of Education – Dubai Educational Zone, and in 2015, obtained KHDA certification to teach Arabic and Islamic Education to non-Arab students after passing comprehensive written and oral assessments.

In 2003, Mohammed was appointed as the Head of the Department of Islamic Education, and in 2015, took on the additional role of Supervisor for Arabic and Islamic Education, a position he continues to hold. Over the years, Mohamamed has participated in numerous professional development workshops, leadership programs, and training courses organized by the Ministry of Education, GEMS Education, and the TELLAL Institute.

Mohammed Inkishaf has made significant contributions to curriculum development and student enrichment. He authored a booklet titled “Basic Knowledge of Islam”, aimed at equipping young Muslim children with essential religious knowledge, including basic Aqeedah (faith), Islamic etiquette and manners, daily supplications, and Seerah—the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Additionally, he enriched the MOE Islamic Studies curriculum by integrating Quran memorization, Hadith, and Du’a components for students across Grades 1 to 12.

Beyond the classroom, [Name] has been instrumental in organizing Islamic assemblies, school-wide events, UAE National Day celebrations, Iftar evenings, educational trips, and awareness weeks promoting Islamic values and Arabic culture. In 2016, [he/she/they] initiated Arabic language classes for parents, and in 2017, launched the annual Inter-School Islamic Festival – Deenona Hub’bun Wa-Salaam, fostering community engagement and inter-school collaboration around shared values of peace and faith.
