John joined GEMS Modern Academy in September 1990 as a Mathematics and Chemistry teacher in the Senior School. Over the past 34 years, he has been an integral part of the school’s growth and evolution, holding numerous key leadership roles. These include House Master, Afternoon Activities Coordinator, Supervisor of the Middle and Senior School, Dean of Studies, and currently, Vice Principal.
John holds a Master’s degree in Science (M.Sc.) and a Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.). Committed to lifelong learning and professional growth, he has earned a Certificate in School Management and Leadership from The Harvard Business School and completed a year-long EDLeap – Education Leaders Program from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Kolkata. He has also undertaken a specialized course in School Inspector Competency Certificate from Tribal, UK.
With over three decades of experience in education, John is known for his dedication and commitment to student success. His contributions continue to shape the ethos and excellence of GEMS Modern Academy.
