Dania Tabbara

Dania Tabbara is an experienced international educator and IB leader with almost 22 years of experience in IB education and more than a decade of experience with the Middle Years Programme (MYP). In her current role as MYP Coordinator at GEMS Modern Academy, she leads the development and implementation of the programme, with a strong focus on curriculum coherence, assessment, teaching and learning, and MYP eAssessment readiness.

With a background in Chemistry and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Assessment Design, Dania brings extensive experience across both the MYP and Diploma Programme. Throughout her career, she has supported students in achieving excellent academic outcomes while maintaining a strong emphasis on inquiry, conceptual understanding, academic rigour, and the development of independent learners.

Dania is passionate about curriculum and assessment, teacher development, and continuous school improvement. She believes that high expectations, collaboration, and reflective practice are central to creating meaningful learning experiences and enabling every student to succeed.
