Over the past 19 years at Modern, Malini has been instrumental in developing and designing the learning and data management systems.
As a passionate teacher and Head of Computer Science department, (2003-2018) and now Line manager, Malini continues to be pivotal in raising the standards of the department to have long-term impacts.
In her current role as Dean of Assessment and Data, Malini has strategically paved the path to data informed instruction at Modern by leading data sessions for teachers, students and parents. The aim of these sessions in continuum is to ensure that students and parents are able to interpret their CAT4 report and track their academic progress.
As one of the key administrators for the school’s MIS portal Phoenix, Malini coordinates with GEMS IT to customise the academic report cards, attainment data analysis reports and student trackers. The data dashboard – Master tracker is one such result of teamwork, which helped teachers, SLT or the SEND team to view and monitor the progress of students and cohorts of students across three consecutive years.
